 Looking forward to planning your next holiday? Or even going out for a meal with friends…This course will give you an introduction into all things Travel and Tourism related. It looks at the people who work in this industry and what they actually do when planning all aspects of a holiday from travel to hotels and apartments to activities and catering.

WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?

Through this course you will experience, develop and reflect on a variety of skills needed to work in the travel and tourism industry. The course will be largely hands-on, involving a variety of roll play situations which will allow you to experience real scenarios related to Travel and Tourism.

How you will be assessed

Assessment will be a combination of on-going assessment and end of unit tests. Assessment will include role-play scenarios and presentations as well as written assignments.

EMPLOYMENT

This course focuses on the skills needed for embarking in a career in any aspect of Travel and Tourism, this includes hospitality. This covers huge range of jobs for example: waitress, hotel manager, air hostess, transport logistics, marketing within the tourism industry, advertising.
