STUDENT STORIES

Information from pupils who have studied this course as to how they feel it was.

Eve - S6

I chose Admin and IT because I thought it would teach me valuable IT skills that are needed with almost every job and even in everyday life.  I have enjoyed learning how to use all the different software that I didn’t know how to use before such as spreadsheets and databases which I think is very useful knowledge.  I recommend taking Admin and IT as it teaches you all the basic IT skills from Powerpoint to Excel and it is very useful to know how to do for the future.

Business Desk With Laptop and Coffee

Callan - S4

I picked Admin because I think that it would be a useful skill to have in the future and to learn more about some of the software you use Word, Excel and Access and it would be helpful in my future job. I enjoy using Outlook because I knew nothing about it before and learning it was a skill to have for the future.  I would recommend Admin because it is a useful subject to know and would help if you are thinking about have a job that involves using a computer.

Business Organization

Jack - S5

I chose admin because I think it’s more useful for future day to day life even if you don’t want something down the line of Admin.  I have enjoyed learning about how administrative people work in their lives and even how to send messages to people through different platforms.  I feel like the theory is the easiest part of the course as long as you think about real life situations.  I would recommend Admin because it is very useful for your life and is a great qualification to have when applying for jobs.  I would also recommend that it is a good skill to have if you know how to do all the things than an administrative person would do.
